Ahhhhh...the White Isle....one of my all time favorites, this little patch of heaven in the Med has got everything I want in a vacation: hot sun, sparkling sea, cool beats, gorgeous people and, of course, outstanding food.
Ibiza’s reputation as a hedonist’s playground is well-deserved and passionate clubbers come from around the globe to witness the world’s best DJs who make their annual pilgrimage. But there’s way more to this beautiful island than the sweaty, sunburnt POMs in tacky San Antonio too often seen on TV.
Yes, in a typical week we’ll plan for a couple proper sessions (Sunday afternoon at Blue Marlin, a night at Pacha), but then we’ll take it easy so to enjoy the many other great things about the rugged island: secluded bays, stylish shopping in the picturesque Old Town, sailing out to stunning Formentera for lunch or just lounging poolside at the villa.
Best of all, the island is a foodie paradise, packed with delicious eats from toes-in-the-sand beach shacks to chic restaurants with all the scene and trimmings. There’s everything from the freshest salt-baked fish to fragrant tagines so podium and paella fans alike are in for a real treat.
Feeling hungry? Find out what to eat and where on this slice of paradise.
